Academic and computer science professional Dr. Cory Plockhas received a number of accolades over the course of his career. These include the Henry M. MacCracken Fellowship from the New York University Graduate School of Arts and Science, the Henning Biermann Award from the New York University Department of Computer Science, and the Henry Barnard Distinguished Student Award from the Connecticut State University System Foundation. Dr. Plock holds a number of advanced degrees, as well. Most recently, in 2008, he earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University (NYU). In 2011, he served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU, providing instruction at the graduate level with regard to computer programming languages. Prior to completing his Ph.D., Dr. Cory Plock earned a Master of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with honors from Western Connecticut State University.As the President of Prolifogy Inc., a position he has held since January of 2010, Dr. Cory Plock guides the software development and consulting firm in terms of comprehensive planning and operations as well as on a project-specific level. Prior to employing his education and proficiency in computer science at Prolifogy, Dr. Plock served as a Consultant with Microsoft Research Cambridge in the United Kingdom and as President of Connecticut Custom Software in Ridgefield, Connecticut, among other positions.Dr. Cory Plock shows an active presence in the professional community surrounding his industry, maintaining memberships in the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), among other organizations. In addition to working in both academia and industry, Dr. Cory Plock has been called upon by the U.S. legal system to serve as an expert in numerous cases pertaining to subjects that fall in his areas of expertise.
